THE YOGIC MIND

The Yogi left his body down below
Surrounded by light, he watched the show
Actors on the world stage playing their roles
So unaware that they are souls
Today's culprits would be tomorrow's victims
Saw reality from that of fiction
Some making accounts, others were settling
God's power was with him, it wasn't unsettling
He saw their anger and then their suffering
Then praying to God as a holy offering
The Yogi observed with merciful heart
Detached from his body and his part
Rays of light sped toward the bluey, green planet
Faces of copper and rock hard granite
The Yogi had learned non-violence in thought and feeling
The energy emitted, always healing
Touching the minds of 7 billion spirits
No one would be missed, this dimension has no limits
Where angels perform their incognito charity
No conflict in the mind gave great clarity
For once they had learned non-violence on earth
They felt inclined to restore others worth
An Angel's mind remains in deep tranquillity
Has a deep affinity with humanity
For they were once in that same spot
Where they came from, they haven't forgot
Just had to learn a different type of love
An all-purpose love that took them above
Beyond the bondage of action, acting without desire
Took them beyond, higher and higher
Earned their stripes on mother earth
Pure loving feelings restored their worth
Human to Yogi, Yogi to Angel
A simple mind that is untangled
