A TRUSTEE OWNS NOTHING AND NO ONE

Desires can never be satisfied
If someone said they can be, they were misinformed or lied
They just give birth to many other desires
The human mind eventually tires
And when exhausted it's not at it's best
Live to your needs and allow it some rest
I would be a moron to search for more
Could sit with my true nature forever more
The fear of losing anything when mind has nothing
Isn't a song the mind can sing
All the things people own disturb their mind
Search for the trustee inside and you'll feel just fine
Ownership of the body and then others
Then your property, fathers, and mothers
None of them are yours they cannot be held
That state of ownership made it rebel
And your true nature got set aside
Selective love and everyone cried
Whatever you have will pull the mind
Go back to the beginning, it's the best rewind
We came into this world with love, food, warmth and shelter
And life was not a Helter Skeletor
The joy of owning nothing when I was a boy
Started to change when I got my first toy
To God I give everything away that holds me tight
And he gives it back to look after, and I feel alright
To no longer feel its claws in me
To own nothing, removes the fear of death completely
For I will always be looked after according to my needs
There is only uncertainty because of my greed
My was the problem, my, my, my
We are but trustees that never die
Your wife, your children, none of it is yours
Remove all possessiveness ends all flaws
Life is something you are, not something you create
Change this falsehood before it's too late
